Library Hosts Job Workshop Series

The library is hosting a free job workshop series in September and October.

Andy Guerra, Certified Career Development Facilitator and a retired Department of Labor Employment Consultant, will lead the class through the stages of job seeking. Guerra will cover topics like dealing with the stress and grief that may come from job rejection, recognizing and promoting your marketable job skills to increase your chances of being hired, finding support systems as you’re job seeking, and successfully navigating hostile coworkers and worksites once you find employment.

The workshop will start on Tuesday, September 18, at 7pm and continue every
Tuesday evening until October 23 (excluding October 9). This series is free but
registration is required. To register or for more information on the workshop,
please call Amy Campbell at the library at 232-1263 ext. 21.
